Le storyboarder est celui qui raconte l’histoire en images. Il est l’étape préparatoire de tout projet et nécessite de nombreuses qualités telles que le dessin, la capacité de mettre en scène et une importante faculté à se projeter. Il intervient à toutes les étapes d’un projet, en pré-production, en production et en post-production. Le storyboard est souvent requis pour budgétiser un film voir valider un film.
